THE POWER OF ONE MAN. JUDGES 3:21-22 And Ehud put forth his left hand and took the dagger from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly: And the haft also went in after the blade; and the fat closed upon the blade so that he could not draw the dagger out of his belly; and the dirt came out. Let us see the interesting story of one man-Ehud the left-hand man who translated the 18years of slavery of children of Israel to 80years of jubilation (freedom). You see, it is amazing that God is not more concerned with multitudes or corporates, but He interested to use one man (person) who is willing. Now, hear this story: sometime Israelites violated the law of God, and God handed them to Eglon (king of moab). They were subjected to moabites for 18years. When the children of Israel cried unto the LORD GOD. GOD raised a left-handed man (Ehud) to deliver them. Ehud had prepared a dagger (sword) of about one and half foot which he strapped to his right thigh under his clothing. He presented the tribute to Eglon who was and very fat man and sent away the men who had presented the tribute. But Ehud turned back from the idols and said to Eglon (king of moab) i have a secret message oh king then Eglon ordered silence, and all who attended him went out of him. Ehud came to him (king) in his cool private chamber (upstairs), then Ehud said to the king i have a message from God for you and Eglon stood from his seat then Ehud reached with his left hand took dagger from his right thigh and thrust it into kings belly even the handle sank and fat closed over the blade. Then Ehud Went through the porch and shut the door, when he had gone out Eglons servants came to look and to their surprise the door was closed so suggested probably the king is attending to his needs but They stayed for long and got embarrassed so they went forth opened the door just to find king dead. At that long run Ehud Escaped and passed beyond the idols. And blew the trumpet and ordered the children of Israel to follow him for the LORD has delivered your enemies into your hands. So they went down and killed 10, 000men of moab and moabites were subdued that day under the hands of Israelites and the land had rest for 80years. Hallelujah the power of one man i can say like apostle Paul i can do all things through Christ who strength me am not neglecting that multitude can do marvelous, no! But Also is evident that God uses individual to work mightily Hallelujah...
