THE POWER OF THE ANOINTING Friends, happy Terrific Tuesday!!! The bible says “Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and to whose spirit there is no guile” (Psalm 32:2). Many people conspired and spoke evil against Jesus (the son of God), therefore do not lose any sleep over the slander of some. You are going forward in Jesus’ mighty name!!! You shall walk upon your high places!!! Every lying tongue speaking against you will be arrested by the Holy Ghost! Evil voices speaking against you shall be silenced by the voice of the Lord that breaketh the cedars! The bible says “Many sorrows shall be to the wicked (Psalm 32:10)”. Mike Murdock once said “What you make happen for others, God will make happen for you”…Beloved, that statement also implies that “When you deliberately block others from moving to their desired destination (which may be just to get away from “you”), God will {YOU MAY FILL IN THE BLANK}”…I repeat, you are going forward in the mighty name of Yeshua!!! Your level has changed! The Phillistines envied Isaac and kept covering his wells but he held his peace. Your enemies are going under!!! You will no longer be a casualty in the school of power!!! The anointing of an overcomer is coming upon you!!! You shall overcome!!! Beloved, one thing I love about the word of God is that it is sharper than any double edged sword. God is both a lion and a lamb. The word of God has a way of hitting its “targets” by convicting some while edifying others. Be blessed as you read the following message! Isaiah 10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. Anointing is the supernatural force that empowers one to do what one could not do ordinarily. FUNCTIONS OF THE ANOINTING Burdens are lifted by the anointing. False accusations, rejection, economic problems, etc are all burdens. Isaiah 49:25-26 But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. The living God is your God! He is the one who can kill and make alive. There is a God who turns hopeless situations around. If God be for us, who can be against us? Lazarus was not only dead but he was stinking. But Jesus got there and said “Lazarus, come forth!!!” and the bible tells us that “he that was dead came alive!” SOMEBODY’S LAZARUS IS ABOUT TO RISE! Dead businesses, dead finances, dead dreams, dead visions, dead marriages, etc ARE ABOUT TO RISE!!! You do not serve a dead God but a living God. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is not a man that he should lie. YOUR TIME HAS FINALLY COME! THE DEVIL THAT WILL STOP YOU HAS NOT BEEN CREATED!!! Yokes and bondages are destroyed by the anointing. Financial limitation is a yoke. Leviticus 26:13 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright. WHEREVER YOU’VE BEEN BENT OVER, GOD’S POWER WILL STRAIGHTEN YOU UP!!! The yokes that bent you over are destroyed now!!! Psalm 121:1-2 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. The anointing causes your enemies to experience divine anger and judgment. Isaiah 10:24-27 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction. And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt. And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. YOUR TROUBLE IS IN TROUBLE! YOUR PROBLEM WILL HAVE PROBLEM! YOUR ENEMIES ARE GOING UNDER! YOU ARE GOING FORWARD! The anointing brings acceleration. Potentials are released by the anointing. The anointing pulls out what you have on the inside. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. The bible says you shall eat a deadly thing and it shall not harm you because GOD IS INSIDE YOU. That evil food you ate in your dream has no effect. What you fear is all in your head. You are king and priests. It is what you say that’ll come to pass. You are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. The devil was driven away from heaven a long time ago so why are you afraid of him? YOU WILL SEE THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD! Luke 4:14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. YOUR FAME IS ABOUT TO GO OUT! YOU WILL MATTER WHERE IT MATTERS! The anointing brings elevation and takes you from captive to captain. 1st Samuel 16:13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah. 1 Samuel 10:1 Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance? The anointing activates a supernatural supply. 1st Samuel 10:3-4 Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine: And they will salute thee, and give thee two loaves of bread; which thou shalt receive of their hands. PEOPLE WILL “GREET YOU” AND “GIVE YOU”!!! The anointing causes compelling favor. When a man’s way pleases the Lord, he makes his enemies to be at peace with him. The three men had “three” loaves of bread and they gave Saul “two” leaving just one loaf amongst three of them! PEOPLE WILL “GREET YOU” AND “GIVE YOU”!!! Psalm 126:1-3 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. YOU WILL DANCE A NEW DANCE! GOD WILL TURN THAT SITUATION AROUND IN YOUR FAVOR! PEOPLE WILL “GREET YOU” AND “GIVE YOU”!!! HOW DO YOU GET THE ANOINTING? HUNGER FOR GOD: Hunger talks about passion. Run after God. God said “For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty (Isaiah 44:3)”. God also said “Seek me and you will find me” Beloved, serve God will all your heart. David said “As the deer panteth after the water brooks so panteth my soul after God” Let everyone that sees you smell God. Many people spend more time running after other things than after God. You must realize that if you can follow God today, your tomorrow is secure. Be addicted to God the way some people are addicted to football. SERVICE: Everywhere Joseph found himself, he served (even though he dreamt that all his brethren would bow to him). When he was sent to take food to his brothers on the war front, he obeyed. It was in his “service” (in the bush tending the sheep) that qualified him for the anointing. It pays to serve God. Serving God will bring things to your life that you don’t qualify for. In Acts 10:38, the bible tells us Jesus went about “doing good” which means “serving”. I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him (Psalm 89:20). If God were to give you a financial mantle today, will he find you faithful? Look for areas where you can serve God. PURITY OF YOUR GARMENT: Flesh must die. Holiness must be your lifeline. You must be addicted to holy living. Ecclesiastes 9:8 tells us “let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment”. PRAYER: Men ought always to pray and not to faint (Psalm 18:1). You should be able to take time off work jut to spend with God. When you spend time in prayer, God will give you visions. PRAISE: This was David’s secret. Psalm 34:1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. The power of praises empowered David to kill the lion and the bear as well as Goliath. Psalm 22:3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. Paul and Silas were locked in prison. After praying they “praised” and God sent an earthquake to the foundation of the prison. The bible tells us that everyone’s bands were loosed! Beloved, you can’t afford to detach yourself from God. Thank God for the church of Jesus Christ. A revival is coming back to the church where ushers will confront witch doctors and silence them! The Lord gave the word; great is the company of those that published it (Psalm 68:11).
