THE PRAYING HEARTS PRAYER NETWORK THURSDAY TESTIMONIES RECEIVED AN AWESOME TESTIMONY OF FAITH AND OBEDIENCE, RECEIVED FROM SIS. CAROL MARSHALL WHICH WE ARE PLEASED TO SHARE FOR THE GLORY OF GOD .... I was trying to get my testimony in before Thursday ended but I didnt but here goes I was unemployed for the past 4 years I have been doing some work here and there some one day a week, some 3 weeks, some 6 months but nothing permanent. At first I was so miserable and stressed out that I lost my hair it just started to fall out then what was left was turning so grey lol I had to hide it. Anywho I continued to stay in a depression half believing who God was and who I was in Him. I would attend church and go through all the motions but get back home and be defeated. All this time God was sending ravens to pay my bills, feed me and supply my needs but I was still without work. In 2013 I got this opportunity to travel to the USA for 6 months and I felt the Holy Spirit saying I should go, I should also say that this offer came some time before and I ignored it or I should say I did not get the ok from the HS at the time. Anyway, this time I went ahead and it was just at the beginning of Fall and I spent all of Winter there, imagine that, well all that time God provided like He was just going overboard, I had great health not a cold nothing, met some awesome people and worshipped with a church family that made me feel so at home that I miss them every day and vice versa. But what made this trip so unforgettable was the lessons I learned, I fully understood what reading the word does for a believer’s life and that fully depending on God is what He wants us to do. My girlfriend was such a great birthing coach, she was there every day praying and helping me to see the benefits of reading and understanding the word. I read the word and read the word and chewed on some verses for a long time then read the word some more. Praying took on a new focus as well as it wasn’t about me anymore it was about the promises in the word that I focused on. My worship life also took a lift, songs of praise would just come to me at all hours of the night or day. I communicated via the spirit in our heavenly language even more and God spoke to me more during this time too, more than I had ever heard Him before. It was like I had His full attention. This testimony has so much more but I will condense it so that God gets the full glory while I have your attention, fast forward to 1 month before I’m ready to come home and God tells me its time to go home, I was like seriously, I was starting to love everything about the weather, the family, the church, but God said yes its time. I said oh well if you say so. Soon after I got that revelation I get a message from a real old friend that I had helped out back in the 80’s (follow me good) the office she works for had a position for a person to manage a department and she recommends me. I get another call from the Director’s Personal Assistant, that they would need me to be on island by February, well long story short I returned full of renewed Holy Ghost power and landed that job like a pro. Even as I was leaving the Bishop asked to pray for my safe return and as soon as he touched me He said Carol you did not just come here for coming here sake God had a purpose for this trip OMG, that was confirmed some time before through the Holy Spirit both to me and to my girlfriend WOW! I’m 50 years old, and I say that because I know some of you like me was telling yourself nobody ain’t looking to employ no one over 40 these days - de devil is a liar - banish the thought! When God is ready to appoint He will do it no matter what age, colour, gender etc. And don’t you worry either about the times we’re living in, pay no attention to downturn in economy, God’s economy is like this - (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out]- Ephesians 3:8b TO BE CONTINUED NEXT WEEK SAINTS .... #ToBeContinued! youtube/watch?v=mNzMjJrlVSQ
