THE PRESENT JUNGLE CALLED NIGERIA PREAMBLE To be true to - TopicsExpress

THE PRESENT JUNGLE CALLED NIGERIA PREAMBLE To be true to ourselves, it will be wise to give Nigeria its proper name to enable us take our right places at the very right time. Nigeria at present can be properly described or called a FAILED STATE, with all the indices of a failed state staring us glaringly in the face. The reason for the establishment of the state is for the protection of the citizens, the absence of which plunders the same state into a JUNGLE where SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST becomes the prevailing principle with the mighty crushing the weak at will. This make such a state a failed one. This sadly has become the Nigerian situation and the earlier this is realized, the better for the weaker members of our present Nigerian society who will need to quickly devise measures of survival lest they cheaply get exterminated. BENUE EXAMPLE Check around and you will see that Nigeria has become a jungle with very clear examples of the ongoing raise of the mighty Hausa/Fulanis to devour the Tiv of Benue whom they see as a weaker Tribe. Of course, with the appalling inability or unwillingness of the Nigerian state to defend the Weaker group, you can easily find the testimony of a FAILED STATE that has left us only with a Jungle where only the fittest will survive. THE FUNNY ASPECTS Benue state voted massively for the president and yet, he seem to be very slow in providing protection for the Benue people. With all the commanding powers, the president can protect his citizens if not as a state duty,at least as someone whom Benue has always supported. Another funny aspect is that, the 72 special battalion in makurdi is one rare special force in the country designed for fierce and special battles. Secondly, the Tactical Air Command in makurdi is the only one in the country and is made up of specialists in air battles capable of fighting and wining international battles. But what are we experiencing in Makurdi and the whole of Benue state? WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? In the JUNGLE situation, and in every situation where survival of the fittest is the chief principle, the mighty dont negotiate with the weaklings, they simply crush them. In times of the jungle life, everyone needs to stand up and proof to be strong or stand to be eliminated. These things have happened in many societies and will still happen. The only language the mighty will hear at such times is that of firm might in return. Look at how the Israelites have been surround by hostile neighbors and try to see how they have lived and survived. CONCLUSION Now that Nigeria has become a JUNGLE with almost everybodys fate left in the hands of the mighty, how do we survive? With the Benue people among other seemingly weaker groups now at the mercy of the mighty Hausa/Fulani Jihadist, do they stand the risk of going extinct? The Nigerian tribes under the heinous attacks of the mighty ones have the options of either proving their own might too as the best option, running away or standing the risk of complete annihilation. The option of negotiation is not available in the JUNGLE, unless we choose to wait for Nigeria to regain its lost status as a state marked by the strong and prompt protection of all citizens against all forms of aggressors. But when will that be? for now, the present jungle called Nigeria has only left us to ourselves with the clear principle of survival of the fittest in operation. It is left to whoever wants to survive to be fast in working for it.
