THE PURE CENTER IS POSITION A THING OF THE PAST? As I watch post seasons games and these playoff games, I noticed the NBA doesnt have that type of Center whos looks forward in DESTROYING the opposing team down low. Block shots and dominate those boards! Duncan is close but he doesnt have that PUNISH ALL PLAYERS DOWN LOW! Yeah he show signs of great big man but at times he would rather bank a couple of 5 footers or off balance layups! Look at Bosh! A 7 foot shooting guard. Hibbert another 7 footer who plays like a Small forward! Do you remember centers like Hakeem the Dream. Moses Malone, Kareem, Russell. You can throw Patrick Ewing in there if you like but these type of player are a thing of the past. As I said before, todays centers play more like the EUROPEAN PLAYERS....AT 611 TO 7 SHOOTING 3 POINTERS! I guess your saying its a good thing that your Center is able to shoot that shot. Not I! I rather have my center pound it down low.Fouling out everyone who try to stop him. After a while youll have half the defense sagging back on him just to stop him and thats when he kicks it out to your REAL SHOOTERS OF THE TEAM. You know, INSIDE, OUTSIDE GAME! REMEMBER THIS STYLE OF PLAYING?
