THE Political Adviser; Delta South Charles Mallam-Obi has described the victory of Hon. Leo Ogor, Prince Johnson Erijo and Barr. Orezi Eseiovo in the just concluded PDP primaries as a measure of the popularity and acceptability of the candidates. Mallam-Obi, who had earlier solicited the support of the delegates to vote overwhelmingly for popular PDP aspirants, also commended the voters in PDP primaries for not letting the people down. “The victory of all the aspirants, most especially Ogor who polled a total of 89 votes against his other contestants is very symbolic, not forgetting also the landside victory of both Hon. Tim, Erijo and Orezi shows clearly they were popular candidates in their various constituencies” he said. “It also shows significantly that the people of Isoko are at home with the PDP and the mass oriented policies associated with our great party,” Mallam-Obi added. He, however, commended People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the security agencies for the roles they played in delivering a credible election in Isoko.
