THE QUESTION FOR TODAY IS FAITH A GIFT OF GOD OR DOES IT COME FROM THE INDIVIDUAL???? For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. (Ephesians 2:8-10 NASB) The above scripture is just one verse that states that Faith is the gift of God and not of man. I have heard many say LATLEY that someone prayed for them or with them and that gave them faith. If I was to go to the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church and ask for him to lay hands on me and pray would that give me faith just as much. See that in it self shows that man can not change, give nothing that God doesnt give by the redemption that comes through the GRACE THAT WHICH IS THE SHEDDING OF JESUS CHRISTS BLOOD ON THE CROSS , DEATH, BURIAL, RESURRECTION, AND ASCENSION. SAVED BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. When the Word is powered by the Holy Spirit ,which that is not seen but brings conviction. What is evidence of true conviction by faith which is how WE UNDERSTAND THAT THE WORLD WAS PREPARED BY THE WORD OF GOD? Repentance, confession, obedience in Gods Word. Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS. (Matthew 7:21-23 NASB)
