THE RATE OF THE FALL Who am I to say that I will never love - TopicsExpress

THE RATE OF THE FALL Who am I to say that I will never love again We are all but stardust finding stardust Making sparks in the night- Forming one brilliant flash after another With each onslaught of heaven’s embrace Stop asking me if I love her I will say that it’s over, tho my eyes Still search the night sky to find her My heart still remembers the silence from her mouth on my cheek when I kissed her Her body was the sun and we watched as she crossed the room like the morning sky to find me Oh how far my heart fell after I knew it was over How it ended… oh how it ended. The spin from the free glory tumble seemed endless The sparks from my heart showered the sky With loves eternal ribbon It is over Yet my eyes still search the night skies for her My body still spins with the memory of leaving her Who am I to say that I will never love again- The earth will turn My eyes will see a distant star and my heart will heave Two new bodies in the sky will rise Forming a brilliant flash of stardust And when I fall If I fall My heart will spark a glorious blaze of loves eternal ribbon For all to see As it tumbles to earth Again. -MICHAELXAVIER
