THE REACTION TO YOUR ACTION: Recall that the Law of Rhythm and the Principle of Balance state that any action gives rise to an opposite reaction, as is also affirmed by Isaac Newton’s Third Law of Motion. This means that the physical actions you take will give rise to opposite reactions in the physical world. And reactions are usually experienced as outer world obstacles or resistance. This is not the Universe’s way of sabotaging you or testing your resolve. You must understand that it is your activity that creates the opposite reaction that presents itself as resistance. In fact, resistance in reaction to any action taken is how nature works. For instance, without air resistance an airplane could not stay airborne and birds could not fly. This means that resistance is necessary in order for the actions you take to yield the results you desire. Learning to see obstacles or resistance as nature’s way of actually getting you where you want to go rather than stopping you, enables you to work with the obstacles you will face on your path, rather than fight them.
