THE REASON WHY I TREMBLE WITH FEAR WHEN I THINK OF MARCH 10th. Exactly 36 years from now (March 10th, 1979) the whole world was treated to a theatre of comedy and absurdity both by scientist, print and electronic medias (shame on them all) A COUNT DOWN TO THE DAY THE WORLD WAS SUPPOSE TO END HAD BEGUN. Every living thing was in a state of panic! I was a very little boy by then but my parents used to tell me that people en-masse were disposing off their properties at a throw away price to commercial opportunist, large sums of money were being withdrawn from banks, prayers were being said everywhere even by pagans preparing our souls for the apocalypse while schools, universities and colleges were empty because pupils/children were withdrawn, they saw no need of education now that the world was ending. In Rift Valley province, the kallenjines sold there land and stocks and went to live in a underground bunker. Americas first manned space station, The Skylab, had lost its terra firma and was hurtling towards the earth cruising at millions of kilometers per second. It was rumored that once it collides with the earth, the earth would disintegrate into pieces, thrown many miles away and it will vaporize killing all living things in it. On July 11th, 1979 when the anticipated date of the end of the world reached, a battery of photo journalist camped in all open places in America to have live recordings of how the world was ending, But,the 77 ton, 9 year old space station Skylab which was to be used by NASA in its research, entered the earth quietly and in pieces most of its pieces landing in the Australian desert. The world was spared but it was the most expensive comedy, the world was treated to.
