THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE Jesus said to her,"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me,though he may die,he shall live.And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die." JOHN 11:25-26 This promise may be the most profoundly comforting statement ever made.Death of the body is the destiny of all men,but through faith in Christ there need be no death of the soul. When I first visited Bethany,the very spot where these immoral words were spoken by the Master,a warm feeling of assurance filled my soul. When the final day comes,put your hand in His and go forward unafraid.
