THE RISING..... (This is the sequele to my poem- The New Girl in the City.. If you remember, it ended with- i will rise, i will rise..) So here it goes..... I will Rise...yeh...I will Rise; I have to..I dun hv choice.. I was...shattered, broken into pieces.. And truly lost my way... Only darkness, only darkness... Life seemed hopeless n worthless... And why not? afterall, this wasnt that I dreamt.. I knew..I had lost the battle. I was at the point of no return.. I dun know....Why it is me? I dun know.... Whats my fault? I dun know....whats my fate? I dun know.....where to go?? But.....hey life! Enough of cries... I will rise..I will..!! This one battle...I had faught, The reason is simple n straight.. I know, this world is mean, But my world is precious to me.. Though I lost it; its not the End, I accept the challenge.. I will fight it again.. My life has taken a positive turn, The light of faith has lit my path; Now I can see clearly; and I can cleverly walk.. I love myself all the more now, I ve become my favourite again; No more crying over the spilt milk, Let the bygones be bygones.. Life has taught me the toughest lesson, Life has guided me to sail through the ocean.. Hey life, here I come.. The World is not enough, The sky is not the limit; I dont care about this selfish world, Fearlessly I wanna fly!! With the smile on my face forever, I wanna face every surprise..
