THE RIVER SONG RULE IS CURRENTLY IN EFFECT FOR: Into the Dalek For the duration of Series 8 our River Song Rule will take effect immediately following the airing of each episode. The River Song Rule is defined as follows: Absolutely NO discussion of any plot points or occurrences of a new episode will be allowed for THREE DAYS after the airing of the episode. As the episodes air on Saturdays, this means that discussion will officially be allowed on the following TUESDAY around noon, EST. For the series finale the rule will be extended to FIVE days, due to the gravitas of the episode. As per our official group rules, people who post content that breaks the River Song Rule will be officially warned by one of our page content admins via private message. The post in question will also be deleted. If a member breaks this rule more than once, they will receive up to three warnings. On the fourth offence they will be temporarily banned from the group. I know that, while for some people this rule is greatly appreciated, for others it is an annoyance. We, the admins, do apologize for the inconvenience and are in the process of discussing alternative discussion locations so that we are still able to remain spoiler-free while also allowing our members to freely and enthusiastically discuss the show.
