THE ROLE OF CLERGY MEN OR SERVANTS OF GOD ON ELECTIONEERING MATTERS AND GOVERNANCE. Every servant of God has dual recognition as a person and as a representative of God over the sheep assigned to him, to oversee and nuture them with the right spiritual recipe. On electoral issue, he has the right, just like any other law abiding citizen to perform his civic duty and also make his view heard by all. On the other hand, as a representative of God on earth, and as one whose election and appointment as a servant of God was not achieved by consultating church (elders/members) nor by the general society, then, the man of God has to be extremely very careful, when he wants to use his spiritual office to make a remark or to speak on political matters or on the state of nation, he must be sure that he heard from God or by divine directives, else, he is operating by the directives of the flesh and not by any spiritual directives. When you say: thus saith the LORD: its not a joking matter, because, that prophetic utterance must be fulfilled(heaven and earth shall pass away but Gods word will never return back void), else, you cant be taken as a servant of God and its a violation of such sacred institution as a pries, apostle, prophet, pastor, etc. Take note all men of God.
