THE RUBEN ABATI AND HIS WORDS OF GAMBLE AND INCOMPETENCE AGAINST GOVERNOR KWANKWASO BY ABBATI BAKO,psc. Ruben Abati- the spokesperson of Presidency: replies the person (Kwankwaso) who will occupy the Villa Presidential office come the year 2015 and described him as incompetent and a gambler. But only an empty-headed megaphone, egocentric, and who sees anything good as bad can make such a statement. Governor Kwankwaso was one time (early 90th) member of the House of Representatives and at the same time Deputy Speaker of the House; that was 22 years ago. He was Governor between 1999 to 2003 and Defense Minister 2003 to 2010. Also, a Governor 2011 to date. So, its pertinent to say that Governor Kwankwaso is rich with experience in both politics and arts of governance. His recorded performances and achievements as a Politician, Law Maker, Governor and Minister will never be forgotten in the political history of Nigeria. His political credentials should and could qualify him to be President of Nigeria. The President Jonathan has never been a Law Maker and a Minister. But he was one time Deputy Governor, Governor and V/President and then President (with poor performance). And again, prior to 1999 President Jonathan was never a politician even in Bayelsa State. In my opinion; Governor Kwankwaso is more a leader with vast experience with an art of governance than the President Jonathan. The PDP central Government never moved Nigeria to progress for an inch in the past 15 and a half years. Because, the economy has been in shambles, the security situation is deteriorating everyday and the unemployment rate is becoming alarming and corruption like a rainy season.The image of Nigeria has been totally projected in the bad light within the comity of nations. One may ask; who shows incompetence, naivety and inexperience between the current leaders of central government of PDP and that of the Kano State Government leaders?
