THE RULES: 1. The Government always makes THE RULES. 2. THE RULES are subject to change without notice. 3. No Individual can possibly know all THE RULES. 4. If the Government suspects the Individual knows all THE RULES, the Government must immediately change some of THE RULES. 5. The Government is never wrong. 6. If it appears the Government is wrong, it is because of a flagrant misunderstanding caused by something the Individual did or said wrong. 7. If Rule 6 applies, the Individual must apologize immediately for causing the misunderstanding. 8. The Government can change its mind at any time. 9. The Individual must never change its mind without the express written consent of the Government. 10. The Government has every right to be angry or upset at any time. 11. The Individual must remain calm at all times, unless the Government wants it to be angry or upset. 12. The Government must, under no circumstances, let the Individual know whether it wants it to be angry or upset. 13. The Individual is expected to read the mind of the Government at all times. 14. At all times, what is important is what the Government meant, not what it said. 15. If the Individual doesnt abide by THE RULES, it is because it cant take the heat, lacks backbone, and is a wimp. 16. If the Government has PMS, all THE RULES are null and void and the Individual must cater to its every whim. 17. Any attempt to document THE RULES could result in bodily harm. 18. If the Individual, at any time, believes its is right, it must refer to Rule #5. 19. Every house belongs to the Government! living there. The Rules just went from lame to brilliant just by switching a few words out!
