THE SACRIFICE OF GOD, HIS SON who know no sin, became sin so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Those who have turned back from following the LORD, And have not sought the LORD, nor inquired of Him. Be silent in the presence of the Lord GOD; For the day of the LORD is at hand, FOR THE LORD HAS PREPARED A SACRIFICE; HE HAS INVITED HIS GUESTS. Zephaniah 1:6-7 And it shall be, In the day of THE LORDS SACRIFICE, That I will punish the princes and the kings children, And all such as are clothed with foreign apparel. Zephaniah 1:8 He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, HE HAS APPEARED TO PUT AWAY SIN BY THE SACRIFICE OF HIMSELF. Hebrews 9:26 Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure. Then I said, Behold, I have come-- In the volume of the book it is written of Me-- To do Your will, O God. Previously saying, Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them (which are offered according to the law), then HE SAID, BEHOLD, I HAVE COME TO DO YOUR WILL, O GOD. HE TAKES AWAY THE FIRST THAT HE MAY ESTABLISH THE SECOND. BY THAT WILL WE HAVE BEEN SANCTIFIED THROUGH THE OFFERING OF THE BODY OF JESUS CHRIST ONCE FOR ALL. Hebrews 10:5-10 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. Hebrews 13:15 Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls-- Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. Amen and Amen Habakkuk 3:17-18
