THE SAD STORY OF LIA: A year ago arrived at the shelter a baby girl : we named her Lia. She grew up until at her 4 month she got adopted by the same family who had adopted Chela just before. uBut, some month later, the family who had adopted them got through terrible economical problems, and they lost everythig: house, car, everithing. So they gave us back the 2 girls. Chelas history changed recently. She got adopted again and is now living in a lovely home. But Lia had no luck in her life. After be giving back to the shelter, and being again a happy little growing puppy, she started to get skinny and her belly growing. So we brought her last saturday to the vet. We made all the tests, and no erlichia, no anaplasma. no heartworm. BUT WORSE: her heart is bigger one side than the other. So the blood who enters one side and has to go out on the other side, cannot go out completely. So it goes back. And so the water of the blood is going inside of her body. She is not suffering. But she has only 4-7 month left to live. You can call it genetic problem, I call it bad luck. But, we all are very, but very sad at the shelter. She is one of our babies. The one we grew. She is only 1 year old, and has to die. Like so man children who have the same problem. So, so sad. But we have one whish: we would hope some one, there out, one of you, would give her the possibility to live her last month in a home, in a family, surrounded with love, just love for her. IS THERE ANY ONE THERE WHO COULD DO THAT FOR HER. Our shelter is a good place. They all get love. But I would like her to know what means a home. DO YOU UNDERSTAND? PLEASE. SOME ONE ADOPT HER AND LOVES HER. We will pay for all the medicines and vet visits. But, please, do not let her die without knowing real love and a home. PLEASE. LA HISTORIA DE LIA: Hace un año atrás al refugio llego una bebe, a la cual nombramos Lia! Ella creció en el refugio hasta que un día la adoptaron junto con Chela, pero luego de un tiempo la familia que las adoptaron tuvieron problemas económicos y la regresaron a las dos al refugio. La historia de Chela cambio hace poco, ya que fue adoptada y encontró su hogar, pero Lia aun no, y hace unos días le descubrieron un problema en el corazón donde el veterinario nos explico que le quedan entre 4 a 7 meses de vida lamentablemente. Esta noticia nos partió el corazón, y estamos pasando un momento muy delicado tanto Lia como nosotros por que no queremos que ella se vaya al cielo sin conocer el calor y el amor de un hogar, Lia realmente se lo merece, eso y mucho más! Hacemos esta publicación para pedir alguien que la adopte, que le de la oportunidad a Lia de conocer una casa, una cama, mucho amor y mimos de sus papas adoptantes. Quien le da esta oportunidad? Lia te esta esperando, ven y conocela, estamos seguro que te vas enamorar de ella. La persona que la va adoptar tiene que cumplir con los requisitos que la van a cuidar mucho, y dedicarle tiempo, ella esta bien no presenta dificultades por el momento pero si toma medicación y el gasto corre por parte del refugio SOS el Arca pero si nos urge encontrar ya su casa…Por favor dale esta oportunidad..
