THE SADDEST WORDS IN ALL THE BIBLE: Acts 26:28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, almost...thou persuades me to be a Christian. What a vast difference in knowing Christ and almost knowing Him. We cannot emphasize that enough. How many millions of religious people are going about believing this or that who are almost right...but, alas, are completely wrong. It should behoove all of us to meticulously examine what we believe and embrace, who we listen to and what they believe, what we read and what they believe(d), examine our lives in light of Gods expectations of us, carefully, daily, purposefully carefully speak continually with the Lord to show us our sins asking Him to mercifully show us if there be any wicked way in me. We are all so caught up in the affairs of this life that we have precious little time for God. It is tragic beyond expression that the One who died to redeem fallen man can be so ignored and excluded from us. And we are all guilty of it; both the neglectful and the most committed. Life is but a few moments and then it is gone forever. I am continually amazed along with little Nellie that we have been together so long...and here we are old people on the brink of eternity. What must God do to get our attention? What more can He do to get us to use what little time we have left to seek His will, His glory, His Son and all that He has done to bring us to Himself? He has done it all and we have wistfully wasted and squandered it. God help us all because we all shall soon be in eternity and be gone, gone, gone without recourse.
