THE SANCTUARY Over thirty years ago a pastor I admire, Pastor Charles Parker, told me something which stayed with me, If you can understand the Sanctuary Service, you will then be able to understand the Bible and the Plan of Salvation, the Gospel. He was so right. Early in my twenties I set out to understand but found it very complicated so, not having forgotten those words, moved onto understanding other areas of doctrine. It has taken these thirty years for it all to come together. After having watched Pastor Stephen Bohrs series, The Three Angels Messages, at the beginning of the Sabbath, I looked to find something else to watch as I enjoyed meals on the Sabbath. It was then I found on YouTube Pastor Bohrs series on the Sanctuary Service! I was excited and just concluded having watch the first one, which Ill provide a link at the end of this post. I want you to be able to experience what I have experienced and learn, too. I have so many thoughts floating in me, so I hope this wont sound as scattered. Having listened and communicating with so many here on Facebook I am amazed with the many beliefs, false beliefs and errors, and it all stem from not knowing this very subject, The Sanctuary Service. If nominal (those who worship on Sunday) Christians wish to continue believing what Israel stood for and did, from their feasts, worship and experience doesnt count for anything, sadly, your Christian walk will follow in their footsteps meaning you will be rejected as they were! Everything, and I mean everything about them is our example and we should seriously take note of it. From the way in which they were set up as a camp around the Sanctuary has meaning. Each feast they observed has a meaning. The very colors used in the Sanctuary tent in the wilderness has a meaning. From the articles of furniture has a meaning. In truth, one cannot possibly understand even the Gospel without a clear understanding of the Sanctuary Service. The whole Bible is resplendent with the Sanctuary Service. You cannot possibly understand Psalm, the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke & John, Hebrews, Daniel and Revelation IF YOU HAVE NO IDEA REGARDING THE SANCTUARY SERVICE!!! How can you possibly think to even understand our present time and what is to occur without understanding the Sanctuary Service? For example, Rev. 2:17 speaks about God will give hidden manna to the one who overcomes. Do you know what and where this hidden manna is? My point, if you dont know anything about the Sanctuary Service, you could not possibly know the proper interpretation of this verse. In the Most Holy Place in the heavenly sanctuary, which the earthly sanctuary was a pattern, contained the Ark of the Covenant. What was inside the Ark of the Covenant both in heaven and earth? How can people believe and live their lives thinking the Ten Commandments are no longer to be observed and followed by man? Well, I can truly see it if you have no idea and understanding of the Sanctuary Service. Unfortunately, so many of you think the Gospel is Jesus came and died for our sins and those who believe upon Him will be saved. Well, its a whole lot more to it than that. Thats merely scratching the surface and WILL NOT BE ENOUGH to save you! One brother is so convinced that William Miller who erred in his prediction regarding Christ coming therefore the whole Adventist Church is in error, doesnt realize it was because of this error the study regarding the Sanctuary Service became the focus of their experience and without having had made the mistake would not have known this most important truth. Let me ask you a pointed question: How many of you have ever learned something as a result of a mistake you made? Pretty basic, isnt it? Enough said. I hope you will take this time serious and take this offering seriously of what I will share with you. Its not to be taken in vain. My main concern, right now, are for the many Adventists in third world countries who do not have access to the Internet and books to be able to increase their knowledge of these truths. I know you have access to Facebook and Im not quite sure how I can help you, but there must be something we can do. Lets pray and discuss how. My other concern are those I know, have grown up with, went to school with, family and friends who are believers and yet their Christian experience doesnt go any farther than what theyve known for the past twenty years! Even still water is no good whereas running streams are better. Friends, were seriously living in these last days and information is being made available. This isnt new stuff but it is new if you dont know it and you should not be afraid to grow. Sure, it may reveal something you dont know, should know, and it will probably result in you having to make the decision to change something in your belief structure, but if it will be the catalyst in developing a better relationship with God, isnt it worth it?
