THE SECRET PLACE By Pastor Bayo Adeyokunnu during worker’s meeting on Sunday, 03/16/14 Psalm 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. The keywords in the above-referenced bible passage are “dwells”, “secret place” and “Most High”. It means that God has a secret place. The secret place is the place of obedience. Throughout the bible ...it is evident that all the blessings of God is in one way or another tied to obedience. Daddy G.O always says that the word of God is a variable constant. This means that there some things we have to do before the blessings come. To dwell in the secret place of The Most High means you do not come out of the place. If you do you will no longer be under the shadow of the Almighty. Brethren, you need “total” obedience. Many are where they are today as a result of the state of their hearts. One cannot excel more than the state of one’s heart and that is the heart of the matter. Deuteronomy 28:1-2 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God [READ VERSES 3 – 13] YOUR FASTING WILL NOT BE IN VAIN! We should resolve and be determined to live holy. When our heart is pure you’ll love God and have unconditional love for the brethren. Many are very “religious” but not “spiritual” in that many wear very long skirts and are very quick to say “God bless you, sister!” but have filthy hearts. Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land The ruin of king Saul as well as the church is partial obedience. When you dwell in the place of total obedience, the grace of God will be multiplied (prosperity, success, triumph, fulfilled destiny, divine favor, mercy, deliverance from sin, etc). MAY YOU EAT THE GOOD OF THE LAND! Let us pray… PRAYER -Father, give me a new heart! Take away my stony heart and give me a heart of flesh! -Father, give me the grace to live holy! -Father, let me dwell in the secret place of The Most High. -Father, give me the grace to permanently stay in the secret place of The Most High. -I plead the blood of Jesus. Father, sanctify me by the blood. The Lord gave the word; GREAT is the company of those who published it (Psalm 68:11).
