CHRIST SPEAKS TO YOU PERSONALLY IN EVERY PROMISE IN HIS WORD AND SENDS YOU HIS POWER THROUGH EACH PROMISE YOU BELIEVE AND RECEIVE So with all the promises of Gods word. In them He is speaking to us individually, speaking as directly as if we could listen to His voice. It is in these promises that Christ communicates to us His grace and power. They are leaves from that tree which is for the healing of the nations. Revelation 22:2. Received, assimilated, they are to be the strength of the character, the inspiration and sustenance of the life. Nothing else can have such healing power. Nothing besides can impart the courage and faith which give vital energy to the whole being. {Ministry of Healing, page 122.} To one who stands trembling with fear on the brink of the grave, to the soul weary of the burden of suffering and sin, let the physician as he has opportunity repeat the words of the Saviour--for all the words of Holy Writ are His: {Ministry of Healing, page 122.} Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art Mine. When thou passes through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour. . . . Since thou wast precious in My sight, thou hast been honorable, and I have loved thee. I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for Mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. Fear not: for I am with thee. Isaiah 43:1-4, 25, 5. {Ministry of Healing, page 122.} Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear Him. For He knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust. Psalm 103:13, 14. {Ministry of Healing, page 123.} Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. FOR PHYSICAL HEALTH - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - (1) HEALTHY EATING - Eat Good Food – not junk (2) HEALTHY BREATHING - Breathe Good Air – not coal dust (3) HEALTHY EXERCISE - Exercise your muscles every day – not waste away in front of television etc. FOR SPIRITUAL HEALTH - - - - - - - - -- - - - -- - - - - - - - (1) HEALTHY EATING Eat the Bread of Life throughout each day (Study your Bible – Memorize God’s promises to you. (2) HEALTHY BREATHING Breathe a prayer throughout each day. Start your day with verbal prayer kneeling beside your bed or where you can be alone with God. Whisper a prayer throughout the day (God hears and answers your silent prayers that you must pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you with the fruit of the Spirit to keep your eyes and ears from wandering on to forbidden areas. Take God’s promises to Him in prayer throughout each day asking Him for the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and a new heart and a life in harmony with His will and believe that He gives you what He promised. You can claim His promises for your physical needs as well but those who misuse God’s promises focus only on physical needs and wants and desires and tell you that you can claim God’s promises for Wealth in this life. They are prosperity preachers who are very prosperous physically but are “false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” Says Jesus in- Matthew 7:15. The prosperity preachers are not following the meek and lowly Jesus who had no place to lay His head. Jesus tells us not to seek the “broad way” but rather the narrow gate that leads to heaven. WE MUST ACCEPT THE CROSS -- BEFORE WE CAN RECEIVE THE CROWN Before Jesus received the crown He chose the cross. Anyone who tells you that you will have no difficulties in this life when you choose to live for Jesus is misleading you – Jesus says, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14. The narrow gate is the gate of promise – He says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8 and Luke 11:9 The Christian life is not free of difficulties but those difficulties drive us closer to Jesus who will always be with us in those difficulties and through those very difficulties we will become more like Jesus - He completes His instruction on how to enter the Narrow gate promising when we ask, He will send us the greatest power in the universe, His Holy Spirit. He says, ‘If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts (food) to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Luke 11:13. (3) HEALTHY EXERCISE The third part of Spiritual Health is that you can not have a healthy Spiritual life without Spiritual Exercise. Jesus said “Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves; for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; and he will answer from within and say, ‘Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you’? I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs.” Luke 11:5-8 Notice in Christ’s story the person (representing you and me asking God) comes at midnight (You are to come to God at all hours of the day) He comes asking for “three loaves of bread” - not for himself but for a hungry friend. God has given us the last warning message to everyone on Planet Earth (the hungry friend) God’s message comes in three parts, like the three loaves of bread (The 1st angel’s message of Revelation 14:6-7) (The 2nd Angel’s Message of Revelation 14:8 [repeated in Rev 18:1-44] and the 3rd Angel’s Message of Revelation 14:9-12) Ask Jesus to give you the “three loaves of bread” so you can carry them and feed a hungry world. You cannot have spiritual health in keeping God’s message to yourself – no more than you can have physical health without exercising you physical muscles. So look for ways to share God’s life giving message – (1) share this complete post with others on facebook.
