THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND PENN STATE I must say I am very - TopicsExpress

THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND PENN STATE I must say I am very impressed with how Penn State is handling a certain situation. No not that one. See this week Penn State decided to pull the Gideon Bibles from the two hotels, the Nittany Lion Inn and the Penn Stater, in a move to recognize OTHER religions or lack there of, in there guests. In this day and age when more people no longer believe the word of men from 2000 years ago more than they do the scientists in this age of technology and all the crazy ass shit they are coming up with, BUT I have noticed in the last couple years that Christians are becoming more vocal and demanding the rest of us...atheist, Jewish, Muslim (they are not all terrorists but I will say it is an evil religion but as far as I am concerned they all are, etc you get the point. Anyways it seems now more than ever they seem to be trying to make the rest of us bend to there will and realize they are right the rest of us are wrong. They are the majority so if you dont like it leave or well the founding fathers started this country on Christian values, kinda hard when very few were infact Christian. Or the police who are good Christian officers press charges on some kid for posting a picture on Facebook of a kneeling jesus statue with the saviors head buried in his crotch. Do the cops press charges on all the good Christians who were going on Facebook ,and I saw this more than a few places, and threatening his life or threatening to break his arms and legs? Of course not. Its just ridiculous. Anyways back to my original point, in this day and age and then when the Christians look down on an action like this I for one would like to applaud PennState for this move. The Bibles are now in both libraries of the hotels and at the front desk, as are other religious materials. Im sure that wont be good enough though as we should have that constant reminder that they are right, and the rest of us are wrong and going to burn in Hell but as Penn State is kind of showing with this move, nobody would have a problem with your beliefs if you didnt feel the need to push it into everyone elses face.
