THE SOURCE OF AN IMMENSE PROFIT> PART ONE. 1 Timothy 6:6 AMP And it is, indeed, a source of immense profit, for] godliness accompanied with contentment (that contentment which is a sense of inward sufficiency) is great and abundant gain. The definition of the word immense>☆vast, very huge, very great, immeasurable, boundless, splendid, unusual large. It is easy to give the Holy Spirit, in the book of acts 1, JESUS is instructing his followers to go to Jerusalem and wait for the holy spirit. But ye shall receive power, after that the holy ghost is come upon you, and ye shall be my witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and In Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth. When the holy spirit comes, power also comes. You cannot teach the divine within a person but we only build up a character of a person. When the holy spirit matures within a person, it means that now the divine is taking control of a persons nature and he Is now controlled not by his on nature but by the very nature of God. It is easy to give the Holy Spirit because the spirit is simply the gift of God. There are some people who remains with the holy spirit without reaching the state of that spirit to mature. When you have come to the state of an inward sufficiency, it means that the divine has now matured and now you are no longer a just ordinary but supernatural. There must be splendid, there must boundless of the profit there, obviously godliness is the source of such profit. Mark 6:2 And on the Sabbath He began to teach in the synagogue; and many who listened to Him were utterly astonished, saying, Where did this Man acquire all this? What is the wisdom [the broad and full intelligence which has been] given to Him? What mighty works and exhibitions of power are wrought by His hands! You see they questioned the source of wisdom of JESUS...where did this man acquire this kind of wisdom? When the divine takes control, no man would understand who you are because of an immense profit. The Bible says they questioned his authority over demons, his brothers and his sisters did not even believe him. People thoughts they know JESUS as a son of Joseph, yes they knew only the son of Joseph but they didnt know the son of God, the Christ. He couldnt perform miracles in his own country because he reasoned that the prophet is without honor in his own country and among his own people, he only healed few who were sick. You see they were offended and offense causes God not to perform anymore. This was just a summary.
