THE SOWER Mathew 13:18-23 18 “Hear then the parable of the sower. 19 When anyone hears the Word of the Kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown beside the road. LITTLE FAITH BELIEVERS What Jesus was explaining here is that there are a lot of people who read the Word of God, but yet dont understand it. Thats because theyre still stuck in this worldly life and have not truly repented, because after you truly repent, the Holy Spirit will come down and convict you, then will you see things differently and become a new creature through Jesus Christ. But these people arent willing to do that, thus allowing the evil that corrupts this world to consume them. 20 The one on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, this is the man who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no firm root in himself, but is only temporary, and when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he falls away. LUKEWARM BELIEVERS These are the people who just hear the Word of God and rejoice all the prosperous things thats coming their way by getting their ears tickled. But when they hear the truth by denying themselves and following Christ, they think twice and say that its too difficult to follow. In other words, when they go through difficult times, instead of calling out to Jesus, they reject him and blame others. 22 And the one on whom of the seed was sown among the thorns, this is the man who hears the word, and the worry of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. FALSE BELIEVERS These are for most rich people who try to be on both sides. Jesus said, You cannot be both, youre either with me or against me. They use their money for self praise and boast about how much they give to organizations. Its all about them and their hearts are more focused in what they have, than God. Nothing fruitful comes out of them since their wealth encourages them to live their lives for this world and they think that good deeds without repentance will save them. 23 And the one on whom seed was sown on the good soil, this is the man who hears the word and understands it; who indeed bears fruit and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty.” TRUE BELIEVERS And finally the most humble of them all are the the true Christians, who trust alone in Jesus and are obedient to His teachings. These people encourage others to see and hear the Word of God and make fellow Christians into soldiers of Christ by sticking to the true Gospel in every sense of the Word. I pray that this message has been a real blessing to you all. Please feel free to Share it. May the Grace of Jesus Bless you.
