THE SPIRIT FILLED CHRISTIAN EPH 5; 18: And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; HOW DO WE KNOW IF WE ARE SPIRIT FILLED WE WILL BE DEVOTED; WE WILL STUDY 2 TIM 2; 15: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. WE ARE TO HIDE GODS WORD IN OUR HEARTS PS 119;11 JOSHUA 1;8 WE ARE TO. SURRENDER ROM 12;1-2 OUR BODIES BELONG TO GOD THEREFORE OUR BODIES SHOULD BRING HONOR AND GLORY UNTO GOD 1 COR 6;19-20 WE WILL BE DEDICATED .WE NEED TO. LOOKING TO GOD HEB 12; 1: Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2: Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. WE NEED TO KEEP OUS EYES UPON CHRIST. LOOKING ABOUT US WILL BRING DISCOURAGEMENT, BUT LOOKING TOHIM BRINGS ENCOU-RAGEMENT STRENGHT AND HELP WE WLL HAVE A LONGING FOR GOD PHIL 3;- 10: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; PAUL HAD A DESIRE TO KNOW GOD. NOTE THE DESIRE OF JOB IN JOB 23; 3: Oh that I knew where I might find him! That I might come even to his seat. WE WILL BE DETERMINED WE NEED TO HAVE A GOOD TESTIMONY ACTS 20; 24: But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. PAUL COULD SAY THAT ALL PROBLEMS COULD NOT MOVE OR DISCOURAGE HIM WE HAVE TO REMEMBER WE WILL HAVE TESTINGS GAL 6; 9: And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. WE WILL HAVE TEMPTATION; JAMES 1;12 “THE PERSON WHO ENDURES TEMPTATION IS BLESSED BY GOD. AND IS A HAPPY PERSON. WE WILL HAVE TIMES WE HAVE TO WAIT ON HIM. THERE MUST BE A TIME OF WAITING BEFORE GOD IN PRAYER. ISA 40; 31: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. WE NEED TO HAVE A. PLEA FOR PRAYER 1 TIM 2; 8: I will therefore that men pray everywhere lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. WE SHOULD HAVE A PERS0NAL PRAYER LIFE; MATT 6;6 SECRET PRAYER IS THE SECRET OF THE CHRISTIAN LIFE. IF WE COULD ONLY KNOW HOW POWERFUL PRAYER IS JAMES 5 16; THEY HAD PATIENT PRAYER ACTS CHAPTERS 1& 2 THEY PRAYED FOR TEN DAYS THIS WAS CHRISTS COMMAND LK 24;49 WE NEED TO KEEP PRAYING UNTIL WE GET AN ANSWER WE ARE TO PREVAIL IN PRAYER. 1 THESS 5;17 CHRISTIANS SHOULD ALWAYS BE IN THE ATTITUDE OF PRAYER. IN THE BOOK OF ACTS THERE WAS ONE SIGN OF SPIORIT FILLING, IT WAS PEOPLE WERE SAVED. IF I AM NOT WINNING PEOPLE TO THE LORD I AM NOT SPIRIT FILLED. ALSO REMEMBER WHAT GODS WORDS TELL US, WE CONTROL THE SPIRIT HE DOESN’T CONTROL US. THISN MEANS HE CAN ONLY BE AS POWERFUL AS I ALLOW HIM TO BE. REMEMBER JHE LIOVES INSIDE OF US, HOW GREATER POWER COULD WE RECEIVE. GOOD NIGHT AND GOD BLES YOU THE OLD RUGGED CROSS
