THE SPIRIT REALM 2 Continuation ... The carnal man has a mind of his own which is not in line with the mind of God. For to be carnally minded us death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enemity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither can be (Romans 8:6-9) The carnal man tries to please God but cannot. Why? He has been programmed not to walk in the ways of God. To please God his mind must be reprogrammed with the word of God. Many Christians are still carnal because we have many carnal teachers and preachers in the Church. Instead of enjoying life and peace the people are still struggling in death- the devil is still oppressing and desyroying them. Well, so they think they need to go for deliverance to enjoy life and peace. No sir! You need to be renewed in the spirit of your mind (Ephesians 4:23) You have now been made a master over devils and circumstances to be able to live according to the reality of Gods word you must renew your mind. The devil, sin, and circumstances is not the issue, the issue is that carnal mind of yours. The man who knows the truth but does not do it is carnal. The man who is born again but does not go to church, does not pray, does nothave respect for the word of God and for the things of God, does not walk in love, is a carnal man! These are the kind of men that miss Church because they want to watch ManU or do business. They are profen and have no fear for the things of God. The reason why we have a lot of fighting and division in the Church is because of the presence of carnal brethren: For ye are yet carnal: or whereas there is among you envying, and strif, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? for while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; ARE YE NOT CARNAL? (1 Corinthians 3:3-4) A man can be so gifted and carnal. The Corinthian church came behind in no gift of the spirit (1 corinthians 1:7) inspite of this they were carnal. A carnal man is not matured in the things of the Spirit. The funny thing about most men who have been carnal for a long time is that they think they are spiritual. There is nothing wrong with being a baby Christian but you must ...desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious (1 Peter 2:2-3) These are 1. They are Flesh-led and not Spirit-led: their thoughts, words and lifestyle is of the senses. 2. They have not learnt the language of the kingdom and so they dont know how to use their mouth to reign as kings, instead they go around looking for someone to pray for them. 3. They live in darkness even though they were born in the light: to them it is normal to be sick, fail, be defeated, discouraged and to sin. everyone makes mistakes you hear them say. They think they are making sense, but as far as God is concerned that is pure foolishness.(1 Corinthians 3: 18-20) 4. They are dull of hearing: It is hard for them to understand spiritu realities. 5. They are unskillful in the word of righteousness: They have no experience with the word of God. The have not learnt to use the word of God and to function in it. You hear them say brethren, we need to die to self nah! You need not to die to self because you are a new self (2 Corinthians 5:17); neither do you need to die to the old self (man) Knowing this, that OUR OLD MAN IS CRUCIFIED with him that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin (Romans 6:6). what you need to do is to put to do is ...put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lust; AND BE RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT OF YOUR MIND; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. (Ephesians 4:22-24) In simple terms he is saying renew your mind. You hear them say let us enter His presence i usually ask them, where have you been? They are too consciounse of the flesh that they are not consciounse of the presence of God abiding in them through the Holy Spirit. You hear a lot of things which sound nice and religious but are not spiritual. 6. Their spiritual senses have not been excercised so they are not able to hear, see, feel, smail, or touch in the spirit. when they happen to see something, they thing they have now become prophets or called in the ministry. ... seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as need of milk, and not strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. Bur strong meat belongeth to them that are of age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to dicern both good and evil. (Hebrews 5:11-14) 3. THE SPIRITUAL MAN But he THAT IS SPIRITUAL judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of bo man (1 Corinthians 2:15) The spiritual man is the man who has his senses exercised to discern between good and evil. He is a Spirit-led man... a man who lives life from the spirit realm. He knows how to use his faith to make the word of God a physical reality. He knows how to make the spiritual become physical. He walks by faith and not by sight. He is a love man. He is a God pleaser. So much to say about the spiritual man.
