THE SPIRITAN PRIESTS The Spiritans, a Religious Missionary Congregation of Priests and Brothers dedicated to the Holy Spirit serving the most abandoned and the poor founded by Fr Claude Poullart des Places in 1703, France. In Zambia, we are working in six parishes. That translates into three Dioceses in Zambia and the Parish being: Livingstone Diocese 1. Maria Regina Parish-Linda 2. Holy Childhood Parish-Makunka Monze Diocese 1. St. Michael-Zimba 2. Kasiya 3. Fumbo Lusaka Arc Diocese 1. Holy Spirit Parish Number of Spiritans in Zambia Currently there are sixteen Spiritan Priests working in Zambia The Birth of the Congregation was on Pentecost day, 1703.
