THE STORY BEHIND OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM Do you know what the words of the Star Spangled Banner mean - that is, why they were written as they were by Francis Scott Key? As you watch and listen, keep in mind what the so-called ‘first lady – Michelle Obama, said on ‘Flag Day’ to her non-illustrious husband Barack, “All this for a damn flag?” To which Barack was seen to nod his head in ‘yes.’ Obviously these are two people clueless of the sacrifices made by those that have fought and died to give us the glorious freedoms we have today, including the ability for the Obamas to show their complete stupidity and ignorance without consequence. The Flag is not just a pile of colored cloth with some creative design dreamed up by some artist to just be pretty (which it is). It represents freedom and all those that have sacrificed their lives for that freedom. Until the United States of America was born, the freedom it established had never been known by people under any other government in history.
