THE STORY OF A FRIEND. A friend of my told me this story. He was working as a teacher in a primary school, a job he despised very much, the pay was too small and he was doing the job because he had no other option, he was working waiting for the day he will given an addmission into the higher institutions. He is a rough guy, he is the type that fights, dresses anyhow. One day he decided to ask his pupil what they will want to be in future. Some said they want be a lawyer, doctor, pilot etc the smallest boy in the class came up and he asked him thesame question and the boy said, uncle i want to be a teacher like you my friend was so suprise, and he said to himself, this is a job i never took serious and this child want to take it as a career, and he wondered what this boy saw in him that he admires so much, could it be the way he thought them or what? that day he took a resolution that he will never fight, misbehave and will dress responsible, if not for anybody but because of this boy that has taken him as his role model. Do you know that There is someone that is looking up to you as a role model? and most of the time you may not know them. Your actions can either affect their life positively or negatively. Somany are nolonger in the faith because those they are looking up to as role models turned out to be the wolf in a sheep garment. Jesus tells us how deadly this could be and it consequence, in (Matthew 18:6) But who so shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. we are call to live a life wordy to be emulated, the life that Christ will be proud of. May the Almighty God give us the grace to be a good role models in the name of Jesus. Amen
