THE STUDENTS ARE BACK! THE STUDENTS ARE BACK! Well, almost. Some started to arrive last week and today - the Freshmen class moves in! It is always such a joy to see students and their families on move in day. Its a huge day in all of their lives - an old chapter ending and an exciting new chapter beginning. And the best part for faculty and staff - we get to make new friends and potentially have a very positive impact on these new students and their future. Its an honor and also a huge responsibility - but one that we take very seriously. God created us to receive His gifts and blessings and then let them flow out of us into our world. If we trust in Jesus, then out of our hearts will flow rivers of living water. This is a very wonderful time to be at Roberts Wesleyan College. There are so many opportunities for lifelong learning - not just for the students, but for all of us! If we do our best and seek Heavenly Father’s help, He will strengthen us beyond our natural abilities and help us all to learn together. That learning will enable us to develop personally, will increase our ability to serve others, and will help us to be prepared in all things. It always seems that this awesome time of year is a renewal of sorts. But this shouldnt be just for us in the academic world, it should be for all of us. A lot of churches are heading out of the summer programming and ramping things up for the Fall. I encourage all of my friends to become a part of active learning. Many of us are already involved in some sort of class, small group or Bible study. If not, please seriously consider it! There is great joy that comes from learning, and especially learning from Gods Word. We cant take learning lightly, as it will ultimately change our lives for the better!
