THE STUPID MYTH THAT SAYS THAT EDUCATION -ALONE- CAN SAVE THE WORLD The widespread and cliché notion that education is enough to tame human inherited nasty instincts and avoid a future dystopian society and even the extinction of our species through a global war - is a myth based on the ignorance or denial of the human nature, wishful thinking and delusional hopes. It is similar to the denial of global warming. The socialist countries tried to reeducate people and failed spectacularly. Education has, on average, only a minor effect on human nasty instincts. Even in the nordic countries with good and free education and good standards of living, GREED STILL PREVAILS and greedy capitalists became the economic and political elite of these societies too. Human greed, tribalism, deception and self-deception, obsessive drive for competitive ascension of social status and other nasty instincts are not deterred by education in most people.
