THE SUNFLOWER CENTER SEEKS SERVERS POSITION OVERVIEW The search is on for The Sunflower Centers newest FOH team members. We are seeking people who are passionate about food and hospitality. YOUR EXPERIENCE/ WHAT YOUVE DONE • For SERVER APPLICANTS: You have serving experience of at least two years, with at least one year at the same restaurant. • Experience as a supervisor or trainer is a huge plus! • You possess a proven track record of reliability • You have the hospitality gene, and understand the importance of hospitality in our industry • You have received positive and rave reviews from both former employers and people youve worked with WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT • You are inspirational, energetic, easy-going and you have a sense of humor • You have a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence • You are adaptable, flexible and can put out many fires on any given day • You appreciate that having a system, process or protocol in place will make everyones job easier • You can commit to a working schedule, but you also appreciate and respect a healthy life/work balance. (We do too). • You are completely open to feedback and being coached/mentored YOUR AVAILABILITY • You must be able to commit to a minimum of 3-5 shifts per week • You must be able to work weekdays in addition to weekends. Important: We are not currently seeking employees for weekends only. • Shifts, opener starts between 6:30 and 8:30; for lunch, start between 10:30am and noon; Shifts, for dinner, start between 3pm and 6pm • Shifts are typically 4-8 hours, but that changes depending on the shift/day • You need to be reliable, as you can expect to rely on your co-workers as well ABOUT LYDIA’S ORGANICS We strive to be the leader in VEGAN restaurants by serving the freshest, most responsible product available. SCHEDULE This is a part-time, hourly position, approximately 25-30 hours/week, and three to five shifts/week. COMPENSATION As a tip earning employee, minimum wage is the hourly wage.
