THE SWEET MICKY DILEMMA FOR PATRIOTIC HAITIANS: One of the challenges patriotic Haitians face is how to deal with the track record of the man known as Michel Joseph Martelly a.k.a. Sweet Micky. All over the internet, there exists a plethora of pictures and videos showing the man currently called President of the Republic of Haiti, dressed as a fool, speaking obscenities of the worst kind or giving an interview describing his prolonged use of Crack Cocaine, resorting to stealing from his former cement truck company employer etc.... Many Haitians choose to ignore the existence of these images, others use them to denigrate Martelly, yet others claim they are irrelevant on account that most of these were produced while Martelly was a mere artist. Nonetheless, every now and again, Haitians are forced to address this dilemma. These days the President gives signs that his antics are still part of regular behavior. Whether he is yelling and cursing at Haitian journalists and/or fellow politicians, Sweet Mickys erratic behavior continues to be a source of constant worry for Haitians. Many Haitians feel very uncomfortable hearing a fellow Haitian refer to Martelly as Charony (Scum). But those who consider him a mere puppet imposed upon the Haitian People by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, through the rigged elections of November 2010 (see link below), counter that it is the man himself who self-described as scum and even added his own biological mother to the list of scums. Indeed, Martelly has several audio recordings and videos that were not tricked via Photoshop or other means, which depict these disturbing facts (see below). What is your view on the subject? Should Haitians suppress the existence of these facts or should we confront them openly and honestly..... or should we wait for CNN, BBC and Radio-Canada to use them against us, when the time will suit a certain agenda? youtu.be/qhkCJQ1N83E See also:Haiti’s Doctored Elections, Seen from the Inside dissentmagazine.org/online_articles/haitis-doctored-elections-seen-from-the-inside-an-interview-with-ricardo-seitenfus
