Somewhere, in someone’s mind, everything is going exactly according to plan.” And with that she turned west and made off towards the distant monument. She felt sure something would be waiting on her when she finally got there. Billy turned and looked at the others. Then he checked his machete and satisfied it was properly belted and hooked he slung his field shovel over his shoulder. He made a ‘let’s get moving’ motion with his free hand and starting after Katie he said loudly enough for everyone to hear, “Told ya she was awesome…”
