THE TRUE FACTS-Further, of the 14 mills that were closed in Canada - TopicsExpress

THE TRUE FACTS-Further, of the 14 mills that were closed in Canada between September 2004 and May 2005, two were in New Brunswick, two in British Columbia, four in Quebec, and five were in Ontario. Further, of the five that were closed in Ontario, only one of the five was located in Southern Ontario. To date, mill closures is on the rise, with no community and citizen positive policy being enacted to put an end to this increasing trend. This is a clear example of bad government practices because the Ontario government can create public policy, which would rectify all of the factors associated with pulp and paper mill closures. However, opting to do nothing will never be a characteristic of good government. It is clear then, that the federal government needs to get involved and rectify the damage the provincial government of Ontario has directly inflicted on its northern citizens.
