THE TRUE LIGHT The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple (Ps 119:130) Christ Jesus is The Living Logos/word; He was in the begining with God as the word and His entery into the world, brought much light to all the world In Him was life, and the life was the light of men...That was the true light which gives light to every man coming into the world....and the Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth (Jn 1:4,9,14) The psalmist puts it better this way; The Lord is my Light and salvation; whom shall I fear (Ps 27) When men allow this living word into their hearts by faith, light shines into their lives. In like manner they become the light and the salt of their world (Matt 5:13,14) and darkness cannot comprehend this light. This is the logos that brings light of love and spice to cold relationships and broken homes, yeah; even to nations and cities. Light of strength to sick and weakly bodies (He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions...it will be health to your flesh and strength to your bones - Ps 107:20; Pr 3:8) Through this light, questions are answered, broken hearts are mended and to those who labour and are heavy laden rest is given. One day, this light will depart earth once and for all together with all who received have kept it aglow; at that time great darkness shall before the earth and its inhabitants; For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people and there shall be great pain upon man kind Make a decision to receive Him into your heart. Arise and let His light shine!
