THE TRUE POSITION AS I SEE I must speak my mind because a lot of people have mortgaged their conscience either for money or political position or favor, hopping for something they can get from the confusion they are fanning. I do not wish to live that way. When Ameachi came on board as the Governor of the state, for me not to overstate the first 2yrs of his leadership, 60% of Rivers people see Ameachi as the new darling of the state, they see him as the new Spiff. A lot of Rivers people are ready to fight anybody who speaks evil about him, they would not mind to die for him, little did they know things can change so soon. The truth must be told no matter how it may affect me. Like a father will not want his child to bring shame to him, so likewise every mother will want her child to make her proud. Likewise we expect our politicians to serve us well, that is the reason we have to monitor them, whenever they go out of the pledge made to us, it is our rightful position to remember them their pledges, or call them back to order, if we don’t do that, we are not helping them nor ourselves and the society. Nigerians should always stand firm to tell the truth at all times no matter how, and not to take side for selfish reasons and hide the truth, only then we can build the country we all desire to have. The happenings in Rivers State, should not supposed to brings President Goodluck Jonathan name as a banner in someone uncalculated political ambition. If Rivers people can call back to the genesis 4yrs ago, that started way back in 2010 just after the death of President Husa Yar-Adua, when the first political judo was directed on Jonathan by his brothers. When it failed, Chief Edwin Clark was called to intercede on behalf of our amiable political judo expert, the Chief use the opportunity to advice the judo expert to redirect his course for good governance in his state. Unknown to all, that the amiable and his advisers were having deferent ideas in them, they later invented anther incorporate political judo directed against Jonathan with new propaganda, the boundary adjustment, and the oil well matters which was there long before President Jonathan even became Vice President. The oil wells become one of their propaganda tools used to discredit Jonathan, and the boundary adjustment that did not start at Jonathan area or former Governor Odili area. Now the question is that when it was rule in favor of Akwa-ibom, did Cross Rivers State Governor accuse Jonathan? Have come when same judgment affects Rivers State, Why should the Governor’s men look for an escape goat to blame? We all know that the boundary adjustment matters did not start today, it has been in there before Odili become Governor of the state. Likewise the NGF problem has nothing to do with the President, but a political strategy employed by ACN to break the power grip of PDP, ignorantly supported by some aggrieved PDP members who are bent to take over power by crook or hook come 2015, while they ignorantly dancing the ACN beat. It is clear enough to me that Amaechi has provoked Jonathan, even still provoking him the more, which require repentant attitude and make peace to send far those adviser with buried interest. Thank God that Jonathan is not like other President with military orientation or having military background; even never remember Amaechi argument with the First Lady in Okirika or see it as important. Even when his anti-Sovereign Wealth Fund Campaign was confrontational encouraged by the opposition, attacking the federal government and by addition the President at different occasions, accusing the federal government of ‘kidnapping’ money belonging to the states, calling Nigerians to revolt as to annoy the President over the small disagreement between Bayelsa and Rivers states which can be settle afterward. To be precise, the commissioner of Police Mr. Mbu, came in when the problem in the state was at it peak, at the time when the police were used to intimidate people who speak the truth. At the time when Amaechi finally changed his good colour for bad colour against the oppositions, to hunt down perceived enemies. Arresting people at will, it become more pronounce just after he won the 2011 election. Rivers State people can count how many of such persons ran out of the state. Today those bad advisers of our AMIABLE are calling Mbu, who was before then a good commissioner, and Mbu must be transfer, he is the root of all the problems in the state. Problem he meets at it pick, and is that his sin? Our amiable Governor should make peace with his brother rather looking for a Police Commissioner that he can use to intimidate his opposition in the state. The CP was a gentle friend of his and more so not a man who can be compromise to tread same path with other. His refusal to do the Governor’s will was on principle of his duty not to call for his transfer because another Mbu will come. To me I will plead with our Governor to respect the Rule of Law to which he benefited from. The Rule of Law that gave him Governorship through Supreme Court judgment. He should learn to stop using impunity or allow impunity in most areas including the suspension of local government chairman without due process. I am sorry my amiable, but truth must be told. I am strongly of the view that the impeachment really took place and not with the 5 persons, but some of the member’s compromise the day to increase the number to the 16, like I have always said, most of the people he trusted are not with him. It is a new page in our political history where protocols are broken by the Governor, and went into the House of Assembly uninvited. His ADC and CSO beat up a member of the House, under his full supervision. The Rivers Indigenes and Nigerians saw how he supervised the beating of the lawmaker by his ADC, CSO and his loyalist, Chidi Lloyd who notify him of the happing in the House. My people what is happing, is our problem, and only we can call a stop to the problem if only Amaech will understand and not to wait for the people who are amplifying the problems to take advantage of them. It is time for the elders of Niger Delta and the elders of Rivers State to intervene on this small problem facing the state, we take it or not the Governor is their son likewise the President his elder brother. It is the time the elders of the Niger Delta region to wake-up to responsibility to protect from invaders, and go with the Governor to his brother and makes peace to shame the enemy. I believe the Jonathan or Amaechi can’t refuse our elders for making peace between their children. I AM COMING AGAIN
