THE TRUE STORY IS - ASK ME EDDIE WENRICK It’s the season where every convenience store is filled with candy from isle to isle – and we can’t seem to escape the sweetness. So to quench your daily dose of high fructose corn sizzurp, we’ve picked two amazing songs to Face-Off. Warrant‘s “Cherry Pie” and Def Leppard‘s “Pour Some Sugar On Me” are two serious hard (candy) rock songs I can’t stop listening too… and I bet you’re on the same sugar rush. So vote now and tell us which music video is tastier. And don’t forget to brush your teeth. Team Warrant Warrant “Cherry Pie” - This sweet song is the title track of Warrant’s very delicious album. Supposedly, Jani Lane whipped the song up in just 15 minutes, when the president of Columbia Records asked that a rock anthem be included on the album. Lane must have used some Betty Crocker instant mix, because not many songwriters have the chops to make hits in a matter of minutes. Very impressive. And of course, in keeping with the food theme, it turns out the song was written on a pizza box. This innovative “notepad” is reportedly on display at the Hard Rock Cafe in Destin, Florida. 1 2Next page
