THE TRUTH ABOUT COVENANT The Christian is NOT in any Covenant with God. I dont know why through out the AGES many christians think they are in a covenant with Jehovah. The misunderstanding of who a christian is has led them to establish churches with the name COVENANT and even written several books about the christian is into covenants with God but this so not true. This is not a direct attack to any churches but can we pls go back to the bible. The christian is not in any covenant with God. First the christian is not a jew.So how did the christian enter into covenant with God? God was in a covenant relationship with the Jews and not to the rest of the world-Ephesians 2:11-15. The Jews were in a covenant with Jehovah because God made a blood covenant with Abraham. To the rest of the world(Gentiles) God didnt make any covenant with us.We were already condemned by God.we were aliens from the commonwealth of Israel-Ephesians 2:11 The Jews seal of their covenant was the initiation of CIRCUMCISION that is the cuting of the upper flesh to ooze blood which signify an entry into BLOOD COVENANT WITH JEHOVAH. WE got to know that when Moses forgot to circumcised his son-God came to kill him cos Moses has breach the terms of their blood covenant. Quickly Ziporah took sharp stone and circumcised her son and saida bloody husband art thou to me Suddenly they were safe from the wrath of God. Blood covenant is the highest covenant that anyone could make. Failure to heed to the terms of a blood covenant brings Omen or sudden death to the other party. So God had a covenant with the Jews. God gave them the law(The law is in 3 stages-one-The ten commandments/two-The ordinances/three-the SACRIFICES) Why was the Law given? Because every covenant should have a pact or conditions on what each party ought to do. As long as the Jews kept the Law-their covenant with Jehovah was binding. If God should break his own agreement-God will cease to be God and became the Jewish slave or Abraham slave. Rememebr God said to Abraham-I HAVE SOWN BY MYSELF THAT THIS WILL I DO. So where cometh the christians? The christians are the result or the fruit of what transpired between the Jews and Jehovah. The christians are the fruits of redemption.We are not the redeem because the person who was redeem died with Jesus.We are the fruits of redemption(another day arguement). The christians are not into any covenant with God but they are the results of the covenant that God made with the Jews. Christians are the results of what Jesus came to fulfil. Example:if two people get married.They are into a covenant with each other till death do them apart. When they give birth to children-are the children into a contract with their parents? No! The wife is in a contract with her husband as her husband is in a contract or covenant with his wife. But the children born are the fruits or the blessing of the contract or marriage covenant between the wife and the husband. So it is with christians.We are the fruits of the covenant.We are not in any covenant with Jehovah. We are the results of the covenant God had with Abraham.
