Mitchell One Nation NSW Copyright 2001 When our futures at its bleakest and there’s nowhere else to turn When our poor are getting poorer and our children fail to learn Though we blame banks and multi nationals, who blindly disagree We can turn to our ONE NATION where the truth will set us free! When our streets are becoming violent and our sovereignty abused And our courts deliver less justice to the victim than accused When our jobs and manufacturing to Asian countries flee We can turn to our ONE NATION where the truth will set us free. When our sick are denied treatment and given a number in a cue, unlike those who can afford it who are quickly ushered through, and to those who’ve lost a loved one considered not an emergency, They can turn to our ONE NATION where the truth will set them free. When our farmers by their thousands are forced to sell their land, we must strive to stand beside them and to give a helping hand, thus the answer once again is so plain for all to see, they can turn to our ONE NATION where the truth will set them free. Then when those we trust to govern us prove un-worthy of that trust, to hold them to account is a priority we must, and when those who sware to protect us are hobbled at the knee.
