THE Tory minister in charge of the bedroom tax has told people - TopicsExpress

THE Tory minister in charge of the bedroom tax has told people with motor neurone disease to take in a lodger or have their benefits cut. Lord Freud gave the shameful ultimatum to people suffering from the degenerative illness and added that disabled people who wanted an extra bedroom should get a job to pay for it. Sufferers can find it difficult to share a bed with a partner due to all the medical equipment they need to keep them safe at night. Earlier this year, David Cameron insisted anyone who needs an extra bedroom for a carer would not have to pay the bedroom tax. But his promise has now been contradicted by Freud, who owns an eight-bedroom country home in Kent and a £1.9million, four-bedroom townhouse in London.
