THE UNCHANGEABLE GOD By Pastor Gboyega @ the 2015 Sandy Cove Prayer Retreat Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Beloved, one thing that is constant in man is that they change. All flesh is like grass that withereth (1 Peter 1:24). Man is like a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away (James 4:14). But God abides forever and is unchangeable. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever God is unchanging in purpose. His promises are unfailing. If He said it, He’ll do it. He is the unchanging changer, incomparable, Man of War, Strong & Mighty, The same God, The Ancient of Days. He never changes: Psalm 102:27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end. His way is perfect. The word of the LORD is tried. He is a buckler to all those that trust in him (Psalm 18:30). Lazarus’s case was totally hopeless but Jesus is the hope for the hopeless. Beloved, whatever appears to be dead in your life is just sleeping and will wake up at the right time. Jeremiah 32:27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me? Jesus performed a creative miracle in the life of the man that was born blind to the glory of God. God promised Abraham a child and a land flowing with milk and honey and He (God) accomplished it. Revelations 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Beloved, even when people take advantage of you, He (God) will be with you like He was with Gideon. God makes a way where there seems to be none. Isaiah 40:28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. To me God is The Rock of Ages but to my enemies He’s the rock of offense. Those that rise against me this year are fighting against my God. Beloved, there is no shaking in this God. He is the unshakeable shaker. Let us pray… The Lord gave the word; great is the company of those that published it (Psalm 68:11)
