THE UNCHANGING CHANGERS I remember in 2011 the shout of change was everywhere, eventually when they got the mandate to effect what they promised the electorates who blindly followed them to the poll see what was offered as the change Behold the score cards after three years in government.... Salaries- still irregular Taxation- exploitative and incomparable to any other state in the federation Education - infrastructures has witnessed further dilapidation with standard further disintegrating Youth employment- from bad to worst State indebtedness - uncertainties Fractionalization of party machinery- no difference Rural development- not visible, no effort Healthcare system- state of emergency, nothing on board Housing- sectional agenda Development of higher education - stagnation Agriculture- still at its lowest ebb Security- above average Food on peoples table- unpalatable Public and human relations- too poor for comfort Inter-party relations- unprecedented failure Peoples hope in the future- dashed Unity of Ogun state people - devastating Road development- excellent but sectional Life expectancy- devalued Respect for institutions - lowest Local government Administration- collapsed Rural electrification - lowest, nil Provision of portable water .- not a priority Remittance of cooperative and pension funds- same ni ?.........my people this is the best we have gotten from the unchangeable changers
