THE UNCOMMON COMFORTER “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26 The Holy Spirit is the third person of the God-head and He is Co-eternal and co-equal with God the Father and God the Son. He is the comforter the Lord Jesus spoke of in the above verse of scripture. The ministry and work of the Holy Spirit has been neglected by so many Christians and we cannot experience and know all God wants for us in this dispensation without Him since this is the Dispensation of the Holy Spirit. The work of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer is two-fold. He has a work He does in us and He has another work He does upon us. In the next few days, we will begin to examine these things but I want to encourage you to make a commitment to be intimate with the person of the Holy Spirit. Begin to see Him as a person. He loves singing, sing to Him. He loves attention; create a daily time for Him today. Your life will change for the better. PRAYERS: 1. Thank and appreciate God for the revelation of His word to you today. 2. Pray for a better level of relationship with Holy Spirit. 3. Pray for the grace & wisdom of God to please and create time for the Holy Spirit everyday. CONFESSION: I am committed to having an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit. I give myself to Him without reserve in Jesus name. This month, I receive Divine ability to be pleasing to God the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. – Amen. Read through the Bible in one year Psalms 12-14
