THE UNTOLD EXPECTATIONS India’s future and yoga .an article by kailash ch sabat -7207884783 Noted social activist and writer Manorama Mohapatra has been awarded with the Shakuntala Samman for this year. The award, constituated in the memory of the wife of noted barrister Ranjit Mohanty, has been conferred in the eve of her first death anniversary for significant achivement in social sector. The ceremony was organized in the BRM-IIT auditorium by Shakuntala Memorial Committee. The ceremony was presided by Prof. H K Mishra and was attended by Prof. P K Sahoo, the Vice-chancellor of Utkal University, and Sanjukta Mohanty. In 2000 in Divine life society Sibir ,I requested Dr Mahapatra for a job as my expectection.She showed her interest in a young man because she expected truth,honesty ,developement of orissa ,transparency in an uncertain Indian democracy. After 13 years the question is that I did not get what I expected from her but I don’t know whether she is happy with present India. There after I came to know the importance of mantras (Hymns) is like somebody calling your name and you awake and if it is not your name you stay unconcerned and since then I take this mantra atleast for 20-30 times a DAY.
