THE UNTOLD THURSDAY SERVICE: 5th September It was a service Pastor said everyone should get a full record from the cd. Many people are yet to recover from the encounter of that service. The Shekinah glory of God fell so strong. The Thursday was a general prayer service being the Church’s prayer week. The praise and worship was in the celestial order (just lack words) and only God knew where Pastor was coming from when he got on the pulpit. The power of God was in excess as we travelled further up in worship. While in the intense worship Pastor paused and said we have just one prayer point for the Church and it is the preparation for that single prayer request that necessitated more worship to give God some more pleasure before we asked. “That single prayer point is ‘Lord make Garden a full blown glorious Church’”. The atmosphere became more electrified when he said that and it was received with more intense worship. Before that prayer was said he explained the characteristic features of the glorious Church in order to understand the prayer point. The texts where: 1 kings 8:10-11, Here the Shekinah glory of God fell and the priests could not minister. God suspended the priests to do the ministration by Himself. Pastor told us an incident in Pastor Joseph Prince’s church where a beautiful orchestra started playing without human instrumentalists. The whole church watched the instruments playing on their own. That’s a glorious service! Acts 2:42-47, the first Church was born a glorious church. There was good doctrine, sweet fellowship, effective praying. They praised God powerfully and continuously. There was so much love and abundance that no one lacked anything. For brothers who like food, there is enough eating too in a glorious church- they ate from house to house- enough food. Acts 5:12-16, It was a Power packed church- miracles, healings, signs and wonders were normal . A glorious Church manifests the supernatural. In a glorious church all are healed according to Acts 5:16 “…and all of them were healed.” Multitudes attended from outside Jerusalem (Awka) to worship. What a church! By the time Pastor was done with a graphic definition of the glorious Church we all wanted it and then stormed heaven with a crave for a glorious Church. It’s great to know that God responded so positive. He wanted us to have it too and He gave us a sign of His presence. How glorious was that presence. No one who was there will forget that evening in haste. Get the cds from the media. If I will advise you, attend Garden if you’ve never done so and if you have, don’t miss any service. No service can be predicted. God is just awesome.
