THE UN’s international inspector on housing rights yesterday said vulnerable Scots were living in fear of losing their home because of the hated bedroom tax. And Raquel Rolnik said she feared that vulnerable and disabled people’s right to adequate housing was being jeopardised. The special envoy said she had heard extensive testimony on the effect of the hated tax during her visit to Scotland. Rolnik, who met tenants and housing officials in Edinburgh and Glasgow, said the tax had been raised repeatedly.
