THE USUAL SUSPECTS 1995 Saw it last night. Loved it. Went to sleep parsing it. Laughing at its brilliance. Woke up with plot twist understanding popping like corn. What a great movie. Read the back story of how, why and wherefore it was written and put together with which actors and those who opted out and wished they hadnt. Yes... it is one of the all time great film noir mystery ...and strangely enough ... funny ...films ever produced in the US. Finding out that the five key actors kept breaking into laughter during takes and especially the cigarette flick at Stephen Baldwin have kept me laughing since last night. Such writing is marvelous and the 5 actors really stole the show. Especially the unintelligible one. Hilarious. Spacey was so great...of course. Best twist: Kevin Spacey wins Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Well played!
