NRM CEC Meeting Accuses Mbabazi of Splitting Party President Museveni has finally spoken out on the reasons that sparked off the sacking of his erstwhile trusted friend Amama Mbabazi from the post of Prime Minister. Museveni told a stormy meeting of the NRM Central Executive Committee that he took a decision to sack Mbabazi in order to stop the confusion in party and the country. During the CEC Meeting, Voice of Teso learnt that Wife to the Former Embattled Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi, Jacqueline Mbabazi confessed to the CEC that she was already involved in Campaigning for her Husband John Patrick Amama Mbabazi although the NRM Secretary General denied any allegations that he was harboring any presidential ambitions. The ruling NRM youth League has also written to President Museveni to sack Amama Mbabazi as the party’s Secretary General, accusing him of failure to mobilize for support and recruit new members for the political organization.
